Khmer Cold Chain Co., Ltd (KCC) is a third-party provider of temperature-controlled logistics, delivering international quality services to Cambodian and regional farmers, agribusinesses, food processers, pharmaceutical companies, food retailers and hotels, restaurants and caterers/institutional (HORECA/HRI), at competitive prices.

KCC is starting operations in early 2023 and is embarking on an aggressive growth journey.  We are currently seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to join our growing team in Kandal Province, Cambodia.

The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance of all products stored in the facility. This includes inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments for compliance with food safety regulations, proper labelling, and quality standards. The Quality Control Supervisor will also be responsible for identifying and addressing any issues with food products that could lead to contamination, spoilage, or other food safety issues. Additionally, the Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and training staff on proper food handling and storage procedures, as well as conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation for ISO/Standard audits
  • Develop all policies and established templates in consultation with all functions
  • Perform food safety & quality control inspections
  • Plan, coordinate and audit quality assurance activities ensuring all product activities meet established standards
  • Conduct orientation to new team with relevant policy, guidelines to ensure that all relevant employees are familiar with existing policy and procedure changes
  • Document controller

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years’ experience at executive or supervisor level
  • Experience from logistic sector, FMCG or Food & Beverages
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or relevant fields
  • Fluency in Khmer and English
  • Knowledge and experience with methods for food-fruit processing
  • Knowledge MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Knowledge SOP/ISO Standards/HACCP/Foods Safety are preferred
